Step back instead.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Resist the temptation to feel flattered and important by answering<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Learn to apply the Water line principle here:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/getlighthouse.com\/blog\/how-to-deal-with-anxiety-at-work\/#perfectionism\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">W.L Gore\u2018s Water Line Principle<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recognize that the higher you are in the organization and the longer things have been done a certain way, the longer it will take to see changes.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>What can help:<\/strong>&nbsp;Create <a href=\"https:\/\/getlighthouse.com\/blog\/one-on-one-meetings-template-great-leaders\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"11440\">templates<\/a> people can use and iterate on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Start small: &nbsp;<\/strong>Small changes can be easier to <a href=\"https:\/\/getlighthouse.com\/blog\/get-team-buy-in-important-change\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"12918\">get people bought in<\/a>, and show progress before larger changes.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Be Iterative<\/strong>: You\u2019re unlikely to be perfect from the start.
